Changelog

What has shipped, newest first. Fixes included, because a changelog without them is just marketing.

Storage, speed and a production to start from

  • Reference images now live in their own storage rather than inside the project file. Boards are no longer capped at roughly sixty images, saving is much faster on a large moodboard, and exports use the full-resolution original.
  • New accounts start with a sample production: one scene, two shots already boarded, and a shot list that exports.
  • Boards now frame their contents when you open them, instead of dropping you at the origin.
  • Dragging a card on a busy board is substantially faster. Every card on the scene was redrawing on every frame of a drag.
  • Lighter pages. The marketing and dashboard animations no longer pull in an animation library, which took about 42 KB off every visit, and they now respect the reduced-motion setting.
  • Text that sat below the accessible contrast minimum has been corrected throughout, in both light and dark themes.

Security and correctness

  • Collaborator invites are rate limited per sender and per recipient, and a repeat invite to the same address no longer sends another email.
  • Project saves are rate limited.
  • Closed a gap in the image-import URL filter that could reach internal addresses.
  • Undo history is capped, so a long session no longer grows without bound.
  • Signed-out visitors no longer trigger a failed request on the marketing pages.

Email verification and media

  • Confirm your email address to share productions and invite collaborators.
  • GIFs and short clips can be dropped onto a board as moving references.
  • Deleting a clip now returns its space to your allowance.
  • Branded email templates for password resets and confirmations.

Light mode and lighting plans

  • A light theme, switchable from the account menu.
  • Top-down lighting plans per scene, with key, fill, back, practicals, bounce and flags.
  • Password reset by email.
